CLASSROOM RULES & PROCEDURES - Mrs. Czeschin BE PROMPT - Be in your seat with all materials, quiet, and ready to begin class on time. BE PREPARED - Bring all required materials to class each day – textbook, paper, pencil, science binder, and agenda (occasionally calculator & colored pencils). - Turn in all assignments on time. BE RESPECTFUL - Keep your hands, feet, and all other objects belonging to you to yourself. - Respect yourself, your classmates, school property, and all adults. - Raise your hand to speak and otherwise listen. BE RESPONSIBLE - You are responsible for notes, homework, quizzes, labs, and tests for days missed from class. - You are responsible for your actions. LISTEN TO DIRECTIONS - pay attention and help yourself succeed TREAT OTHERS THE WAY YOU WANT TO BE TREATED HOMEWORK POLICY See the student handbook for the school policy concerning homework. In addition to this policy - Assignments are expected on their due date. Late assignment can be turned in ONE DAY late for a maximum of 50% of earned points. Assignments later than one day late will earn zero points. No extra credit will be accepted unless all regular assignments have been completed at a minimum of 50% correct. GRADING SCALE The grading scale is listed in the student handbook and will be followed in all classes. CONSEQUENCES Detentions should be served the day they are assigned or the following day. If a student fails to serve their detention, the discipline progression listed in the handbook will be followed. Certain infractions will result in an automatic office referral. Please read over this section of the handbook with your child. The handbook has been covered at school and they will be responsible for knowing and following the rules.
